It's her second time around, and her first time making it to term. She's usually petite but today (and for the last 7 months) her belly's been threatening to take on her entire body, swelling large and huge to the point that I tempted to take a pin to her tummy just to see if it'll pop. Instead, I reel in the urge to do something stupid and watch as the more enthusiastic crowd at the baby shower comes together to play baby games that make me laugh my ass off.
Her (still) unnamed son is on his way in the first week of March and I'm as excited and hopeful as everyone who came by tonight to wish the couple well.
